The MSI GX403 gaming notebook was announced today, which updates the company’s smallest device intended for gaming with a few significant changes. The notebook holds onto a 14-inch display but tacks on a speedy GeForce GT 130M graphics card for improved performance.

The notebook now also features support for 500GB hard drives, which is a significant update from the previous 320GB limit. Other features remain pretty much the same, however, with Turbo Mode for overclocking and a W/A/S/D keyboard.
The processor is a Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM. Additional specs include a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a Blu-ray player, HDMI and Wi-Fi. We don’t know with teh GX403 will be available or how much it’ll cost, but it is likely the notebook will make a U.S. appearance sometime soon.

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!!!!!!
Heard It ALL Before!!!
MSI PROMISED the GX 400 back in August 2008 but it never hit the market… can’t find ANY for sale on the web or in the UK…
Now, 9 months later… in May 2009, we have been waiting nearly a month since the “announcement” of the GX 403…..
I am beginning to think that MSI stands for
“Misleading Sales Information”
Anyone else smell a rat?
Come on MSI, STOP MAKING PROMISES THAT YOU DON’T KEEP!
WHEN IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR THE GX 403???
PUT UP OR SHUT UP!
Are there any IT journalists out there who would like to put the heat on them and start asking them to put their products
where their mouth is?
Or perhaps they may consider sticking those fake product releases in a place where the sun doth not shine…
Cheers,
Harlow.
