MSI makes some very nice computers in all sorts of categories form netbooks to full gaming notebooks with high-end hardware. The latest high-end notebook from MSI is the new GT660R gaming notebook that is now available in the US.

The notebook has a 16-inch screen and runs an Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core CPU. Other features of the machine include GeForce GTX285M graphics with 1GB of memory, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, and 1TB of storage with a pair of 500GB HDDs.

The notebook has a chicklet keyboard with a full number pad and a webcam that can record 720p resolution video. VGA and HDMI outputs are featured and the machine has an ExpressCard slot and more. The rig weighs 7.7 pounds and has a 9-cell battery with prices in the US at $1699.99.
