		<description><![CDATA[it&#039;s a good initiative.. it could be the genuine open OS.. but the apps could never touch the complexity of advanced iOS apps. HTML5 is coming along nicely but even full fledged desktop flash can&#039;t perform the feats of iOS apps without serious (core duo2) processing power (see audiotool.com for an amazing demo of what flash web plugin is good for..)

Again though, I think it&#039;s a great plan for focus on cross platform html5 apps I&#039;ve seen some amazing websites pull out all stops for touch based html5 sites.. they are slick AND fast. Yahoos web based email isnt a shining example but a good basic example of how one destination can serve android, iOS, and webos. (and it doesn&#039;t eat your battery alive like their android app does for some reason)
