We have 6 laptops in our house, and no desktops, yet we have 5 mice in constant use, and I use mine about half the time, when I'm at my desk. Many, many things are just so much easier with a mouse, and more accurate. I love the multi-touch features on my laptop, but there will be no switching to the mousepad when playing any kind of game on a computer. Of course, this is just my opinion, but thought I'd share lol

You clearly know some weird people if none of them have used a mouse in over a decade, regardless of whether people have switched to a laptop or not, the vast majority of them continue to use a mouse as it is simply more comfortable and useful than a trackpad for most of them.

Incidentally, since when was Diablo 2 classed as a mmorpg?

Whoa... mouse dead? My wrist is going to die first using a trackpad all the time before the mouse dies. Ergonomically the mouse is really an essential travel companion. Sure the trackpad can suffice, but it's pretty limited.

I only ever use a mouse... even though my work pc is a laptop. I hate the trackpads - too slow and inaccurate. I avoid using the mouse unless its necessary (kb shortcuts ftw), but its way better than a trackpad (or worse, ibms "nipple").
