Motorola is ramping up production of Android phones as fast as it can apparently after all the buzz it created with the Droid and its other Android offerings. Today another Android smartphone from Motorola was spied running wild called the Motorola Zeppelin. Interesting name since the word Zeppelin always conjures up images of things going down in flames for me.

The shot of the device in the wild is far from telling and is only of the textured back panel of the handset. DIGI.QQ.com reports that the handset has a 5MP camera with flash, Wi-Fi, HDMI output, and dual SIM slots. That last feature is a first for Android phones if accurate.

The dual SIM slots are said to be marked GSM and CDMA. That interesting CDMA slot is an R-UIM slot reports Engadget, limiting the device to China only. The handset has a 3.1-inch 480 x 320 resolution screen as well. The device is tipped to debut in China in Q1 2010.

it looks quite interesting. Can’t say that it looks like something I would want carry around as a phone.

Is it because the chassis looks bulky? I think most moto’s smartphones design are bulky. Not a big fan for Motorola’s phone.
