NotionInk adam is already epic fail after the first update. Thank God I didn’t buy an iPad, because the Xoom is the one to get. Not even the leaked iPad 2 specs can hold with this Xoom tablet.

My two cents – if a manufacturer wants to beat out the iPad, then their device should
either be comparable in features but much less ( $50 – $75) then the iPad or same price as the iPad but with front & rear (high quality) cameras, SD slots and much more in features.
(note – the only apple product I own is 3rd gen Nano- so I am not one that has drank the
Apple Koolaid, but so far I have seen no tablet that truly beats the iPad. What may come close is the Notion Ink, so for now agree with “Dragon.”)

@Chris Davies – $700? Every other site is listing Xoom 32gb with 3g on Verizon for $799. You got sources to back up $700? I’ll be first to get in line if that’s the case.

What do we think this will translate to in GBP? Maybe £550-600 after tax? If it is then I wont be giving this a second look, do we need 32gb on board with the price of flash cards? If the price is in part due to the nice screen what will it look like if apple defy logic and release the ifad2 with the rumoured uber-screen at a decent price. They wont have a hope!
Still waiting properly powered tablets at a decent price, might have to wait for the niche to mature a while yet.
