…i guess you didnt read the part that if they go through with the ban and Apple eventually wins the full case, motorola will be forced to pay damages inflicted by the ban,

Even if Motorola posted the bond, wouldn’t Apple just get around it the same way Samsung got around the Galaxy Tab 10.1 ban, by getting the products into the country via suppliers outside Germany? They could do the same thing……simply have iPad’s brought in from Switzerland or France or wherever.

So a preliminary injunction (like the ones Apple achieved against Samsung in Germany and Australia) is better as it hurts sales and does not involve a huge bond from the claimant.

I think they will be happy to let it continue a little longer until there is no doubt and no bond money needed. Then enforce it.
