I love the phone, but I have been receiving a comand once a week at least, that is stopping starting the phone. I have to take out the battery to resrestart the phone. The command says: Incoming Download Mode, then “polling, get oemsbl_mode=1″
Please help me with this. I have already master reset it once and rebooted this morning!!!

I just got one it pwns. 35 a month unlim use skype for all outgoing from home and office and the 300mins should suffice.

I activated 2 Triumphs yesterday (me and the wife’s) At one point, each gave the ‘contact virgin’ error, but both got activated. Heck, they had my # ported from Verizon and activated in under an hour.

I bought 2 yesterday (yes, the 18th) and activated both with no problem. 1 was a ported number and 1 was a replacement for an existing Virgin account.

They released a series 1 and series 2 already were released in March of this year. You can get them all over ebay and what not but I’d order right from the source or wait for Series 3

Yeah, I’m trying again, this will be my 4th try on the phone. I tried wifi, it didn’t make a difference, still says: “service is not available Error: 06-07-5101 Contact Virgin Mobile at your service”. EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY ACTIVATED THEIR PHONE IS LYING

I had the Optimus V and it’s a million times better in all regards. EXCEPT you can’t use it as a wifi hotspot due to it being FROYO Version 2.2.2 BUT you can get the Netflix app from XDA developers and it works great!

Thats not true. I have the optimus v and was making calls with google voice and sipdroid before I activated the phone I have had no problems with receiving calls either.

This being a Motorola, the #1 question is: is the bootloader unlocked/unlockable? If so, it’s a winner, and it won’t matter for long that it ships with Froyo rather than Gingerbread (although seriously, what were they thinking? Get with the times!)

If not (as I suspect the answer may be) Triumph owners can expect a world of hurt as they watch other devices pass them by – lovely hardware that’s locked down and stuck on last year’s software is nobody’s idea of fun.

I have the intercept. And google voice command works perfect with virgin mobile. Caint wait to purchase the triumph. It dosnt have a slide out keyboard. That is my concern right now.

I had about 4 hours of heavy use while hanging out with my family at the beach using the camera, texting, reading huffingtonpost.com, facebook, and google+. Better than the battery life I had with another Android phone (the TMobile Google phone).

You can not use Google Voice voicemail with Virgin Mobile. Do a search online for details.
