Motorola Luge: RAZR M reborn

The first reveal of the DROID RAZR M had us surprised – surprised that Motorola would make such a small phone and surprised that such a phone would feel so right in our hand. Now nearly 2 years after that device's first reveal, (and our review), a rebranded iteration has been shown by Verizon as the Motorola Luge.

This device still works with the same kevlar backing, it still has the same innards, and it still works with the newest version of Android that it was allowed most recently – that's right around Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The following specifications hold tight:

Motorola Luge (rebranded DROID RAZR M)Display: 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced 960 x 540 pixel display (256 PPI)Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus 1.5GHz dual-core processorRAM: 1GB RAMBack Camera: 8-megapixel cameraBattery: 2,000mAh batteryInternal Storage: 8GB+ microSD card slot for 64GB more

This device will be released to Verizon's Prepaid lineup with a 2-year contract price of $199.99 USD or a full (off-contract) price of $299.99 USD. Or you could find the RAZR M in used condition for a strikingly smaller amount of cash. Up to you!

The video you're seeing shows the device on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – long, long ago. It runs quicker now, working with the exact same hardware specifications besides.
