It would be nice to see Motorola working on getting these updates out quicker, but I’m good with just getting the update. And really, it’s not like Apple or Microsoft get updates out any quicker.

This is why I chose the Nexus, everyone’s Moto device will be “obsolete” by the time it gets the upgrade. Plus, by that time, they’ll be focusing on rolling out the next wave of phones, so the update is likely to be given a yet lower priority to sell new hardware. Lesson learned, if you want a device that’s kept up-to-date on Android for 2 years, get a Nexus… otherwise, suck it up!!!
