not bad but goes blank to often some time it rings and screen is blank some times when u get another call screen is blank and u have to turn it off and on quick to get the other call not real happy with it

Just got my Electrify yesterday and I love it so far. It’s fast great pictures. I have a Samsung Mesmerize as well and as read below it is tempermental. The Merge is A BIG Piece of Garbage as is every HTC I owned. I am a truck driver so I put phones through tests of varying degrees. Signal reception, call quality and durability and a few others. So far the mesmerize was good but the electrify by far surpasses it as far as consistent performance

have been a U.S. Cellular customer for years and love their customer service. Have also been an HTC fan but my last purchase which was the merge has been frustrating. I replaced my non-performing Desire with the Merge and for a while it was great until it starting rebooting continually. When I called HTC they gave me the run around until I blasted them in an online survey. That is when they called ma and came clean with problems with their Gingerbread upgrade. They promised a fix on it and months later it is still crashing and dropping calls. I too am considering the Moto Electrify and have also thought about the Galaxy. My daughter has the Samsung Galaxy through USS and the reception is horrible. MY USC rep says the Electrify has best reception so probably going to be done with HTC permanently.

I got the Motorola Electrify November 28th, 2011 and I really don’t see anything that’s fast about it, it has the same exact speed as the last phone I had on Cricket’s network and it was an Android phone.
The camera doesn’t have any special features either, I even have a 32GB SD card in my phone.

I agree. So slow and does not access apps without having to try several times. I really do not like the android system.

Yes. My first Desire lasted 6 mos before the antenna crapped out. #2 was broke out of the box. Literally never left the store. I’m on #3 and at 10 mos the antenna is failing again. That’s why i’m reading this review. Your mileage may vary. Be kind to animals.

Two words: get it. The Electrify blows the iPhone out of the water. If your wifes a med student, this phone would be a better choice. Large internal memory and its expandable with a MicroSD card, bigger screen, and a plethora of medical apps on the Android Market. Dont waste your money on the iPhone, I did, and I regretted it.

in low light, camera capital s sucks and video picture quality isn’t as good as galaxy s. If it want for the speed of the phone and a few (very few) other perks. Id rather have my galaxy s phone back.

Yes, I had the same issue with my desire as well. Thank god it finally took a crap on me so that I could get the electrify. From my experience, the electrify has better reception.

Anything was going to be an improvement from my Samsung Acclaim that froze up more times than it worked right! Love this Motorola Electrify!!! Lightning fast browsing! Love the big screen…Just a tad too big to fit comfortably in my front pocket, but having the bigger screen is worth that inconvenience! Runs strong with several applications running!

LOL. I do the same thing when testing out phones. I refuse to place full faith on benchmark tests and quadrant scores. I’m all about the day to day usage. I walked into a Sprint store and I threw everything at the Photon4G while Google Navigation was on and while looping “Rollin’ in the Deep” simultaneously. The phone did not buckle one bit. You will not go wrong buying the Photon4G or it’s twin brother the Electrify.

I just got the electrify about a week ago and I love it. Love the features, love the apps and the front and rear facing cameras are pretty cool. I can see who I’m talking to. (I remember back in the day when that was unheard of, lol ) It is by far the best phone I have had to date…

I picked up the electrify the other day.. I gave it the overloaded app test, and this phone doesn’t even hesitate. I used skype, and video chatted with the little lady and the video came out just as clear as hers was on the pc. Hands down I can see this phone lasting me a good while.
