I used my phone while it was snowing and the thing got pretty wet on the screen and it was just fine. Granted, I wouldn’t throw it in a pool or anything crazy.

Not to mention it looks SICK with that case on- better than it does without IMO.

I never even used 4G (which is in my area, the reason I got the phone!) and 3G would repeatedly disconnect because of the battery saver, and be a real pain to reconnect to the network.

The phone itself is superb, and I recommend anyone looking for a new Android to check out the Razr or the Xyboard tablet (same design language and preloaded with ICS- based on that everyone can rest assured the Razr Maxx will ship with it and I bet the Razr will get the software update on January 25). Simply, the battery is not capable of making it through a full day for me.

If you can charge it often, the Razr is fine and everyone envys you because “it’s so thin!” However, if you are like me and want comparable battery life to something more like an iPhone- hold out another couple weeks and also get much more storage. The Razr Maxx will be the best specced Android when it comes out, and will most likely be on top for a while. It’s not something you will regret getting, and it’s honestly not buggy at all.

The only difference is the battery. I did love the Razr but returned it because I knew this Droid Razr Maxx was coming out. I did expect it to have more difference ala the Chinese Razr. 13MP camera, bigger screen at 4.5 and 720p. I dunno. I might still get it but I feel a little shortchanged here. PLUS its going to be $100 more than original droid razr or $100 more than reduced Razr at $199 ?
