Motorola DROID RAZR M 4G LTE leaks again in detail

Verizon's next DROID appears to have leaked once more this morning in a hands-on treatment with assurances that the Snapdragon S4 processor inside it is "fantastic." Over at Engadget this souce has noted that the lithium polymer battery inside was able to withstand a full day's heavy usage even with 4G LTE active, and the casing is ready for battle action as well. As you may well know, Motorola's latest line of smartphones basically all have protection against drops and water splashes, so we're not surprised that this one is as well.

This device will be coming with a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED Advanced display and will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The front of this device has a 3 megapixel camera – that's giant for a front-facing camera, by the way, while the back has an 8 megapixel camera. You'll find that this device is protected with kevlar weave on the back and that it's got splash coating on the inside as well.

The back panel above the kevlar coating appears to have been smashed in this particular model, leading us to believe that it may have been an older version of the device or not quite reinforced as well as the final model. We've not encountered any other recent Motorola device with such a smash – it's quite unlike them to create a fragile piece like what we're seeing here.

We've seen this device in black trim as well as silver – or white – trim too. We're more than likely going to be seeing this device appear via Motorola on the 5th of September when we see them in New York – stay tuned for more action. Have a peek at the timeline below as well for more details on this device, including more specification rumors and press photos too. Also note that the Motorola DROID RAZR HD is a device that may be popping up soon – we'll see!
