So I have had this phone for over a month now and I can say I quite like it.

I had to get a phone for my new job and wanted one with a keyboard
as the primary use for this phone is business. The keyboard is great on
this phone, it is a joy to use compared to any other hardware keyboard
phone I've used. I have used a lot from blackberrys, old sidekicks back
in the day, and the sprint evo one with a keyboard. I have to say I
like this one the best. The look and feel of the phone is nice and
solid in a sleek utilitarian way.

It seems that most of the complaints are from people who really
hate how motorola hosed them with the last cliq phone. Well keep that
review to that phone, this phone is a great little device. It is not a
G2, It is not a mytouch4g, it is not a galaxy II, however it is an
excellent phone that handles the job of email, calendar, open office
docs, and phone calls very well. It has TeleNav GPS built in, and it
has Google Maps Navigation as well. Two great navigation apps you won't
get lost with this phone. The native 3g hot spot works excellent for
business purposes, if you need it to break out your laptop and fire off
a few emails and docs back to the home office it does the job, but if
you really want a mobile hotspot to watch vids and do the whole
multimedia thing, get a 4g phone with the hotspot stuff. This phone is
excellent for what it is, a mid market smart phone.

Some people have a problem with MotoBlur, It is simple, don't sign
up for more than you need to and it really stays out of the way.
However I do find the MotoBlur widgets very useful. The speakers on
this phone are excellent, nice crisp and loud. The video playback is
actually impressive considering it is not AMOLED device, the colors are
vivid and clean. The camera is decent for what it is, it's not a nokia
with a zeiss lens but it does take clearer pics than an iphone with
good lighting.

I would have a slight issue with this phone if it was to be my
primary personal phone (mine is a Nokia N900, greatest most flexible
device ever) because it doesn't really have too many bells and
whistles. However if you are looking for a phone that offers solid
email, solid contact, calendar and business integration this phone is a
great choice. Especially at the price it is being offered at here. The
more I use it, the happier I am with my choice as I just needed a
little workhorse of a phone for work. If you're a phone user who
doesn't fiddle with their phone at all times, uses when they need to,
play a random game or two here and there to kill time, and definitely
needs a keyboard because on screen swyping annoys you, this is the
phone for you.

*** P.S. IF you will buy this Motorola CLIQ 2 I suggest at: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004IWR4NW/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=slashgear.com-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399373&creativeASIN=B004IWR4NW

I think it's a time to rock. The Motorola CLIQ 2 is available at Dell for Free. The source of this news is "http://www.i4u.com/45639/motorola-cliq-2-motoblur-t-mobile". it also provides some further news that the Motorola Cliq 2 takes everything that was good about the original Cliq and kicks it up a notch. It has been heavily revised by Motorola. This Android handset results in a much better device for everyday use. It is a bit larger but it is worth it for the increase in performance. It has the power of 4G to help you manage your hectic lifestyle and work schedule. The Cliq 2 uses the same version of Motoblur found on other recent Motorola Android handsets. There are widgets for Twitter, Facebook, My Space, as well as widget that combine features of all three social networking services. The news is just awesome. Thanks to i4u.

Mehhhh I'm very dissaponted! I love the motoblur software, I expected something amazing
I'm very picky though, but make a 4g cliq please! With a bigger battery, and more storage!
I used to have the cliq for about a year then it gave up on me so I upgraded to the tmobile g2 with google, AMAZING phone:)
Nothing can stack up to it though, but I do miss the motoblur software

Well, I have to say the Cliq 2 is ugly does not impress me much, I have the orginial Cliq and the keyboard is alot better than this one for sure and even though I only have 2.1 and No Flash on came or Flash 10 for video etc it does what I want it too. So I would not purchase this and Motorola really screwed up making promises to alot of Cliq owners that had problems with their phones and never followed through until it was too late. I will be going HTC for my next phone .

Motorola annoyed a lot of people with the original CLIQ.
They promised an update to the OS it was shipped with (1.5), after months of delay they refused offer the 2.1 update to any non-US customers. Even then they only selected US customers with contracts to certain phone companies.

After my experience with Motorola I wouldn't bother buying from them again, without I wanted my phone to be out-of-date from the moment I get it.
