I upgraded from an 8350i to the Admiral and have been using it at work (read: near constant 7 till 6 ringing and PTT direct connect, e-mail and text.) The new type PTT is completely compatable with the other DC units. The phone combines the best of my old indistructable 8350i with a realy fine android phone. Battery life is comparable to my wife's Defy - charge a little on my short lunch break and in the car on the way home and it is good for a full day after my near steady phone use during the day. Bravo!

Bye bye, Blackberry.

A one-time physical keyboard fan, I'm now appreciating all the dynamic possibilities, speed, and correction capabilities that virtual keyboards have (not to mention the increased screen real estate), so I'm solidly a Droid RAZR fan...

However, for those who can't let their physical keyboards go, here's a blackberry substitute that's got better proportions (bigger screen/shorter keyboard). And as tough as the RAZR?

It's like a Droid RAZR Pro... I'm guessing they didn't name it that because of that perpetual stigma:
Any phone named with a "Pro" at the end is bound to suck. This looks like it doesn't.
