Mortal Kombat X release set for April 14th with Goro in tow

This morning the team behind Mortal Kombat X have revealed that the game will be released for all platforms on April 14th. In addition, pre-orders have been given the added bonus of Goro. Those that pre-order the game will be given Goro as a playable combatant in Mortal Kombat X right out of the box.

Mortal Kombat X will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. Goro will be released to the whole lot as a "retail channel-wide pre-order exclusive." Online combat with Goro details are unknown at this point.

The April 14th release date for Mortal Kombat X will be worldwide – at this time it would appear that all markets will receive the game at the same time. Australia is an unknown. In the past, Australia has had some Mortal Kombat problems, and we'll have to see about X soon.

For those of you headed to EGX, Mortal Kombat X will be available to play as a demo. Which characters will be available to play at the event is unknown.
