I admit that I haven’t been a huge follower of the Metal Gear games. They’re great in their respect, just not for me. I have played enough to know that Solid Snake is a bad-ass, and many people are going to be sad to see him go. However, what even many hardcore fans don’t know is that MGS 4 isn’t necessarily the end of the series, just the end of Solid Snake’s story.

MGS4

I’ve always kind of assumed that the series was over once 4 came out. However, Kojima Productions associat producer Ryan Payton says otherwise. “I think there’s been some misconceptions that this is the last Metal Gear. This is really just the last chapter of the saga of the Solid Snake story.”

This is certainly good news for fans of the series. While they will surely miss their main character, at least Payton assured everyone that they tie up all of the loose ends in his part of the story during MGS 4.

“However, what even many hardcore fans don’t know is that MGS 4 isn’t necessarily the end of the series, just the end of Solid Snake’s story.” – this is known now for a couple of months and i think every HARDCORE fan already knows that:)
