A few more details have been given about the upcoming Doom game, although I warn you now, they’re just as vague as the original ones. They did confirm one major factor “There’s going to be big guns, lots of blood and demons.”
Which let’s face it, is indeed what we look forward to in Doom games. The game will still be built on id Tech 5. They aren’t really sure on the story line just yet or what the name of the game will be.
Hollenshead did state that, “The goal for the game is that it will be the best game of its ilk when it’s released.” They also are striving that the game not only hold true to the rest of the Doom games, but be innovative while it’s at it. The game will be under the direction of Kevin Cloud.

The story will be you have guns and shoot things that come out at you. This new engine will be able to renter black like never before! You will see dark rooms, dark objects and solid blackness in a higher detail that has never been seen. Seriously. Only by closing your eyes in the trunk of you car while at the bottom of a lake will you be able to see the same amount of black.
