It’s perfect for all day bicycle rides when I am using an app that uses the GPS to map rides. It gives confidence and extends functionality. Price but well worth it for long days away from an outlet

Works great more than doubles my battery life , me personally I just leave it on standby till my phone runs down to 20 % and then turn the juice pack on . I have this for my iPhone 4 . I did try it when I had an iPhone 3G and it was a fail but they have came along ways and created this case to be flawless and reliable

Take a gemology corse, it can be scratched if something hits it hard enough, because the same properties which make it HARD also make it BRITTLE. It helps to learn something before you speak, I scratched my phone, therefore it can be scratched. But you’re right, your flawed logic defies reality. The plastic provides a SOFT and non BRITTLE coating which will protect your expensive phone.

Dude, if you spent any time on the forums you would know that the glass is not Gorilla glass and the coating on the glass is very much susceptable to scratches.

I use the SGP ultra fine on my IP4 for both fine scratching and because I hate all the figerprints. So, there are other reasons to put one on.

I’ll ask you to check your facts before you post with such bravado.

If you have a verizon phone, that is to be expected, if you have the juice pack plus, because the plus is only for att….
If you have the air, you could just have a defective one, call them. Also make sure you have it connected properly.
If you have the 3g/s model, call em, you have a defective one.

then again, you could just be a troll hired by a competitive company, or a sick individual that sits at home and makes crap up. idk

I bought one. I hate it. When i turn the Mophie battery on and put the phone in my pocket the battery connects and disconnects repeatedly as im walking. It makes that noise like when you plug it in to your charger nonstop. I works fine if its setting still on a desk or something. Woopty-doo!

Scratches? IMPOSSIBLE!
Unless you use an actual diamond, or tungsten-carbide stylus on your iPhone, you WILL NOT SCRATCH THAT GLASS! That is no ordinary tempered glass. Apple has the exclusive license to that glass, which is a Corning invention, and patented by Corning. Do your homework people. It won’t take you long.

All those companies selling “space age” screen protectors, are SCAMMING YOU! Yes, some of them really are advanced technology. Put them on your helicopter blades, they will help. Using ANY “clear” coating over the iPhone is just a waste of money, blurring the clarity of the HD resolution that no other phone has, and demonstrates your lack of knowledge, (which highlights that sticker on your forehead that says, “Sucker!”

Why do I care? Because I hate to see the rip-off artists taking advantage of clueless people…

Really great product! I bought one last week @ http://www.dressmyiphone.nl (The Netherlands) and are really happy with it. Quite slim design and a lot of extra power. Now my iPhone only needs a charge after 3 days of use.

I would note that they aren’t exactly the same size. The measurement the website uses in inches rounds to the same thing but the juice pack plus is actually 1-2 mm larger in each direction and while that’s not a huge difference, it’s noticeable. It’s also more “bricklike” — the slopes toward the sides are much shorter/steeper. I actually just bought a mophie for my new iPhone, went back and forth between the two models, and wound up choosing the juice pack air in red. In the battle between power, price, and aesthetic, I opted for the slightly lower price and what I view to be a the more elegant profile. I suppose if I were more of a “power-user,” I would have jumped on the juice pack plus but there other things to consider. Just my two cents. I do love mophie products though…this is my second iPhone and my second mophie!

Juli, if you’re worried about back scratches you could try getting a skin for the back of your iphone first.

Im currently using Gelaskins for my iPhone 4 + a Mophie Air when i need the extra juice. It slips tightly in.

One question. I thought I remembered reading reports earlier that the Mophie Air allowed grit behind it and caused scratching to the back of the iPhone. Does this one fix that problem? It’s one of the reasons I’ve hesitated getting an external charger.
