Remember the Monster AVL300 home-automation system that RemoteShoppe reviewed back in December? They found it to be fantastic – if a little convoluted in setup – at controlling both your home entertainment gear as well as other things like lighting. Multi-page options on the colour screen, macros, the AV100 has the works. As I’ve said before, though, think about who’s going to be using it; I know my mother might be a bit reluctant to sell her soul to an instruction manual so that she could use it.
