When i travel to expo and shows i always carry a power strip in my bag in case i can only finds one power plugs while i have many things that requires power such as video camera, laptop, etc. Carrying a large bulky power strip is not an option when you need to walk around the show floor. I got one of these for Christmas (had to travel to the east coast to be with family) and already got use out of it at the airport for the flight back. There’s often only one outlet (if you’re lucky) at a terminal, and this thing was compact enough for my carryon. I was able to plug it in and share with another guy, so we could power our laptops.
Frankly, I usually hate Monster cables because they’re ridiculously overpriced, but major points for compactness here.
