If you’re going to call your concept “Lobster” then it damn well better have snappy-claws!  It’s an instant point knocked off for Danilio Mangini’s modular wristband, but they quickly score again thanks to a concept product that might actually be useful.  The Lobster is a core screen and cellphone with detachable modules that each bring different functionality; for instance, you may snap on a GPS module, or alternatively a MP3 player.

According to Danilio’s design, each sub-section would retain its functionality when detached – e.g. the hard-drive could still be used separately – but would have their maximum potential unlocked when connected to the base unit.

Although there’s LG branding on the device, it’s unlikely that we’ll see production.
