Back when I was a kid, there was a game for the NES that kicked my ass every time I played it. I think it was Track & Field, but I could be wrong. Anyway, during the races you would have to pound on the buttons with superhuman speed in order to win the race. I recall that I never even came close to winning a race, that is until I got a controller with a turbo button for Christmas. I would say that it took all of the fun out of the game, but it was never there to begin with. While these modded controllers from HGcontrollers don’t give you turbo buttons, they will likely give you an edge.

HG Controllers

What they have done is put either two or four buttons on the bottom of an Xbox 360 controller. I first wondered why this would be necessary, but then it became clear. By utilizing these buttons you won’t need to remove your thumbs from the joysticks, thus giving you even more time to aim when playing FPS titles like Halo.

The two-button mod will set you back $69, while either of their four-button mods (they have a special one for Halo 3) runs $89. It should be noted that using these against your friends gives them the right to kick your ass for being a dirty cheater.
