If you’re looking for a phone that you don’t need to recharge constantly, you might want to check out what’s going on at the China Beijing International Expo 2007.
At the show Beijing Hengjiweiye unveiled their solar mobile phone. The phone recharges its battery simply by absorbing light. So as long as you don’t keep it in your pocket all day, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about recharging.
Hopefully we will see more phones integrating this type of technology. People are constantly looking for ways to help save the environment and although mobile phones don’t draw as much juice as some of our other electronics, every little bit helps.
