No gadgets are safe from diamonds, and digital cameras are no exception. A bit behind the luxury diamond-encrusted cellphones and laptops, Minox differentiates itself by offering the DC 1011 Carat 10.1 megapixel digital camera with a body covered in 24-carat gold and a lens surrounded by ten 0.02-carat diamonds. The camera has the usual 2.5-inch LCD display, 32MB of internal memory, video recording, and a maximum 2GB eternal memory expansion card slot. It is priced at a modest $1,699 compared to its cellphone and laptop predecessors that have been priced up in the millions. But, that has to do with some diamond quality and size mumbo jumbo. Ships with its own wooden case.
