Having had a bad experience playing Quasar (e.g. I was rubbish at it), I’ve never subjected my easily-bruised body to paintball. Having seen Rick Galinson’s paintball minigun project, I’m even more convinced that there’s no chance in hell I’d put goggles and some camouflage gear on and face the barrel of one of these things!

i saw some guy have that in sgt splatters in toronto. he had a LOT of paint with him and a huge co2 tank. basically we were playing attack and defend and he was on attack. he wiped out the whole top floor cuz every1 was shooting from the windows. me and a few other ppl ducked when we heard the beast start to fire. but one couragous man ducked right when it passed over him got back up and yelled “HAHA YOU MISSED ME!” the guy with the minigun just turned around and fired about 100-150 rounds into him before he fell to the floor. i did not see that guy play anymore after that.
Holy crap that thing is sweet I wish I could have one that would make my day to shoot my big brother with that thing while were playing because that thing is sweet looking :D I wonder how many paintballs that thing would shoot a sec :O

holy crap!! what a monster!!! it would be nice for speedball thats for sure. but i think an experianced team could take him in the woods. i bet that set up gets heavy after awhile with re-fill kits and that massive O2 tank. youd have to have it mounted on a buggy with alot of ammo n O2 to keep playin fer like n hour. bring him in the hilly thick wooded forests of michigan and i bet he wont be very good. he would have to bunker down somewhere.

this tipe of weapon could begin a small war in a woodsball field…….. but it should consume a lot a paint, and for woodsball it is not very productive because of the treas. Just one shoot should be enougth to eliminate the mini gun shooter.

@David, I bet you can’t but that would be some scary stuff if everyone had those on the field! You would definitely need some GOOD protection.

The “mini” of minigun is supposed to be a comparison to the WARPLANE it’s designed to be attached to. Oh my god, what an A-Hole the creator of this monster is.

Seriously, does anybody realize the sheer mechanics of trying to get this thing to work properly… Just trying to load in the paintballs into the barrel without chopping them is a feat in itself, but launching them out that quickly without chopping them yet again is even more of a feat. Not to mention just guess how much all the gear to get that thing going would weigh.
Yes, the concept is freaking awesome. But I personally would prefer a nice hiding spot in the woods with my tippmann 98 custom than standing out in the open with that heavy *** thing getting shot from all sides.
if i saw that on the field i would laugh my *** off, it would be so inaccurate it wouldnt be funny and the fact is in a real game everyone would be gunning for himlet alone hes gonna move so slow its not even funny, sure nice inaccurate suppression fire other then that, hes done for
