Yes of course, Steve said no 7” iPad but he can make a 7” iPod with the same resolution/processor/OS and still be right. He also said no to netbooks and then came up with a 11” MBA, which is definitely not a high-end netbook…

It doesn’t matter what things appear to us, but what Steve calls them.

The new iPad won’t use a Retina display, it will be another IPS LCD display produced by LG (who actually produced the display for the iPhone 4), I know this as I work for LG.

The Web experience at 7″ compared to 10″ is huge. At 7″ you must really be concerned with exacting touches…then the frustration will set in. Many Web pages at 7″ are less than satisfying. 10″ is the perfect size for a pad. I agree with Steve. ~grins.

The only way they will be able to tout the iPad 2 with a “retina” screen is to pull it down to 7 inches.

At this point, anyone who doesn’t “slate” Steve Jobs for being a first class hypocrite will then be a confirmed blind fanboy.
