Mighty No. 9 trailer update showcases gameplay, art

This weekend, the folks behind the runaway Kickstarter success and highly-anticipated Mighty No. 9 video game released a new trailer showcasing the gameplay in all its side-scrolling glory. Along with the new trailer is a gallery of user art favorites.

The trailer gives over two full minutes of gameplay, during which we get a solid look at the game's art, dynamics, and various enemies — at a couple points, we get a zoomed-in look at some of the characters in great detail.

Says the update, "The game plays great by the way, and is gradually getting harder!" Joining the new trailer is a gallery of select fan art (some of which you can see in the gallery below). Overall, feedback on the latest sneak peek is encouraged via the Mighty No. 9 social pages.

Mighty No. 9 was funded on Kickstarter, where it achieved ample success, scoring 67,226 backers who pledged more than $3,800,000 USD (the goal was $900k). You can find out more about the game by checking out the timeline below.
