Wouldn’t it be great if you could carry around a video projector in your pocket? Microvision has teamed up with Motorola to not only make a portable projector, but to integrate one into a mobile phone.

PicoP projector

Microvision has been working on an ultra-miniature laster based display engine called PicoP. This new technology is powerful enough, and yet small enough that it could one day be incorporated into a cell phone, or other mobile device.

This technology is still a little ways off for now, but it’s certainly something to look forward to in the future.
