Looks like the new Zune has already been hacked. Nothing major, it just allows you to do something that you should be able to do without editing the registry. Change a few characters here and there and you have yourself a giant USB drive.

I’m always impressed with the speed of these hackers. The new Zune has barely seen the light of day, and Zunerama has already cracked it open.

I’m left wondering why Microsoft wouldn’t include this feature from the start? Tricky, tricky, Mr. Gates. Good thing we have all of these 14 year old prodigies around to hack, crack and unlock our gadgets for us.
