keep loving it for a year or so after the 720 is out. then microsoft will shut down the network for the 360 much like it did for the xbox 0 in an attempt to force you to upgrade just to keep playing the games you know and love. Soon after you do- they will stop support for online play for 360 games much like they did for the xbox 0.
then you’ll be forced to buy and play newer games that are basically the exact same you played one the 360 but with amazing new 476y352091p dpi hd3dhdmiusb3.0 graphics.

I remember when the Microsoft CEO Ballmer said that iPhone can’t be considered as a business phone as it doesn’t have a keyboard in it(at the time when Windows Mobile has a keyboard in it). Today I see Lumia without a keyboard as well as this news that makes me think who is following whom ??

i will pray that this is a horrible Mii Too rumor.
the only way i would use a touch screen would be for RTS and Text-Heavy RPGs, but make it just a screen, not a controller.
since im more of a shooter and platformer, this control scheme with a screen is kinda pointless.remember how the original xbox controller was such a beast, and now they want a screen in it?

Really? A single-touch resistive touchscreen evolved up from the DS is indistinguishable from a multi-touch capacitive touchscreen evolved up from the iPhone? The Wii U is far less high-tech than an iPad and that’s a *good* thing. Throwing high tech and suitcases full of money at the problem just yields overpriced gaming hardware and really awkward E3 shows; such as the PS3 w/SIXAXIS and the Kinect debuts.

But back on topic, these iPad/tablet comparisons from all corners of the ‘Net are so far off in left field. Nintendo is embracing HD this generation but still skipping out on anything that would be considered modern “tablet” technology. They’ll keep producing *affordable* entertainment for the *whole* family and everyone but me can stand around and still be surprised when they are successful.

There’s nothing wrong with “more of the same” when it comes to new consoles, especially for hardcore gamers and casual gamers not interested in motion controls or touch screens. Personally I don’t know why they feel the need to follow Nintendo’s lead when the Kinect is already a success. They should be building on that rather than assuming the Wii U controller will be a success.

They didn’t copy Nintendo, their goal was to create the “perfect entertainment center” which would ultimately mean this as their conclusion. However I’m not wasting my money on consoles again. I’ve done so for the past well, legitimately out of my pocket I’d say 15-years and never really enjoyed the benefits after the DC/PS2/GCN/XB era. PC is the way to go, one system to rule them all, no royalties and people could run games at low quality (like a PS3 or Xbox 360) or high quality like what a high-end pc enthusiast build can run. There is no point for a man-in-the-middle.
