That’s just a myth. What about windows 2000. And I would hardly say 95 was a flop either.

Windows 8 is going to be a transition period sure. But whats the alternative for them? For years now, even before the iPad, people have been complaining about how un touch friendly windows 7 and previous iterations were. I didn’t even say I prefer Linux and you assume. Care to tell me why every other MS O/S fails and/or how exactly my statement was incorrect or maybe you could try to have a prudent argument?

I honestly think they need to look back to XP and it’s longevity and see that some have moved into Win7 comfortably(even businesses) and that Win8 will probably flop just on that basis.

Not at all. I don’t think there is any successful software company on the planet that doesn’t plan the next iteration of their platform while finishing up the current one.

How is this panic if this article has no idea of what it even is? It could just be a feature upgrade like the article says.

I guess Google panics every 4-6 months with a new version of Android. Same is said then for Apple. Just because it is MS doesn’t mean it should be different.

What if this is a new OS what does that matter. Do you really think Apple is not working on a new version of OSX? They are probably working on a version right now of even the next update after the one that will come out next. If a tech company is not then they are putting them selves in a massive hole.

You people make a person with common sense just laugh at you.
