Poor old Zune, it’s come in for some stick because apparently Microsoft have played their cards close to their chest and not supported it officially with their latest Vista OS.  Thankfully there are software tweakers out there like Andre de Cavaignac, who – with some judicious molesting of the MSI tables – has managed to get his brand new Zune to sync with the Zune marketplace running on Vista.

Obviously anybody trying this does so at their own risk; for the less-adventurous, just take comfort in the fact that it won’t take much more than a minor patch update for Microsoft to enable Zune on their new OS.
