It’s been on phones, and it didn’t sell. Microsoft will soon scrap it and then put its desktop Windows 8 on phones and other embedded devices.

In this roadmap, there’s no place for Windows Phone. It’s Silverlight-based apps won’t run on Windows 8 on phones, as W8 won’t be supporting Silverlight. What we have here is yet another Kin situation.
