if you actuall read the whole article, the author did mention you need a windows live id

“And to use the app, you’ll need to get yourself a Windows Live ID. Also another move that’s not all that surprising.”

I wasn’t aware that this article, which was about the launch of the application, was intended to be a review of the application. it isn’t. If it were, it would say that in the title, or in the article.

I’m sorry to hear about those UI oddities, though.

Author, did you try out this app before writing about it? I suspect not, otherwise you would have mentioned that a Windows Live account is required to use the app. Also, there are some UI oddities…would have been nice to write about those too.
