Microsoft it is a fact that you cannot review all the Apps that are sent to you so create a Windows phone 7 site named WP7 Betatest where People can post Apps for people to use on the windows phone 7. The Rules for the person who uses an app on the site are 1-microsoft is not responsiable for any dmaged the App does to your phone 2-you must report to microsoft how well the App works. The person who posts the App or Apps must give a real email address
so micrososft can contact them. if the app is good enough Microssoft will test it and if it is ok
then it goes to the regular Microsoft Apps site . If the App is bad the person who posted the App
is told it will be pulled from the Wp7 Betatest site

I don't follow your reasoning. If I purchase a credit card, I'm not entitled to extract from it the digital signature of my bank.

In my town, it is a criminal offense to distribute the access credentials of a private network without authorization, not for the action per se (revealing a sequence of bytes) but for its consequences (allowing people to steal the information contained in the network).

There are gaming platforms, more powerful than the PS3, that allow you to run your software with no restrictions. There are phone platforms, more open than the iPhone, that allow you to install your software with no restrictions.

Which major competitor? Apple or Sony...your pick with George Hotz, considering he was the first w/ a published jailbreak of the iPhone.

He purchased the hardware he hacked and last I checked...the .gov backed this up in terms of legality. (we shall see if it will apply to the Sony suit against him...I hope for the sake of hardware ownership (& what I firmly believe in personally), Sony's suit falls flat.

Hmmm... A company rewarding an hacker who disrupted the security system of its major competitor...

Now I don't know if this behaviour is politically correct, but certainly it isn't the most honourable of the moves they could have done.
