Microsoft invites you to Windows Phone 7.5 events in five major US cities

Microsoft will be hosting several events in the next two months to show off its upcoming Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices, which include the HTC Titan, HTC Radar, Samsung Focus S, and Samsung Focus Flash. The events are open to all and will be hosted in five major US cities: New York City, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

These aren't stuffy events either. Actually, Microsoft is trying a different vibe, calling these the "coolest" parties for the "hottest" devices. The company is planning to offer cocktails and food from top local chefs as well as live performances from indie bands. Plus, it's free to get in and open to all, but you'll have to RSVP quick via the Windows Phone Facebook page because spaces are very limited.

The events will kick off first in New York City on November 7 and 8, featuring indie artists Matt and Kim. Following that will be Chicago on November 11 and 12, featuring The Drums, Dallas on November 16 and 17, featuring Young The Giant, Los Angeles on November 30 and December 1, featuring MuteMath, and finally in San Francisco on December 6 and 7, featuring Best Coast.
