Why does Microsoft insist on shooting themselves in the foot when trying to compete in mobile markets???? Lets wait entirely too long to get in the game then make it impossible to compete… sounds like an awesome friggin game plan to me… lets do it!

The real question will the price be competitive with iPad? Licensing + hardware might just result in XOOM like pricing fiasco.

They did the SAME thing with WP7, and while the devices themselves are marvelous, Microsoft hasn’t held up their own end of the bargain by following through with solid, competitive software.
