Sorry for hasty reply, but I'm in a rush, and may sound thoughtless.
I was talking about productive musical applications; synthesizers, sequencers etc etc. There are dozens of REALLY stunningly impressive music applications for iOS.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjYyEXmqzqQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH_Do-XLFzY
and lots of more...I don't necessarily need one hundred synths, I could even be satisfied with one good one. But it seems that no one else can offer any where near this level of quality...well out of all places, the Nokias really marginal N900 has SunVox, and with stylus it would be fantastic to use, but I cannot buy such an old phone for so high price. Perhaps conversion from Maemo -> Meego would be easy enough for being able to at least hope, that it would come for N9 too. Especially as its developer NightRadio is fantastically funky dude, and have been supporting all kinds of wonderful marginal devices.

Those games you mentioned are on the level, that I take for granted. Every platform has fun mini games. I would like to see more like these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ7aTcPA37Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9oOvmu2-XU

But as I said, I believe in Windows Phone, especially its future. I believe, that if nothing surprising happens, Windows Phone will burst Android bubble and starts to challenge iOS, and even go over it some day.

You are really very badly informed. WP7 has the fastest growing app store in history, the developer support has been extremely strong. In the past two weeks alone Windows Phone has received official apps from Fox News, NBC News, Trove, MTV News, E!, VH1, Colbert Report, NatGeo, DC Comics, GoWalla, Foursquare, Kik, IM+, MLB, Billboard, Vevo, Evernote, American Airlines, Best Buy, AllRecipes, BettyCrocker, Epicurious, Foodspotting, Eventful, WeightWatchers, AmazonFresh, WhitePages, Engadget, etc.

http://www.wpcentral.com/tags/Apps?show_page=2
http://www.wpcentral.com/tags/Apps?show_page=3

And that's just the last 2 weeks. WP7 already has official apps like ESPN, USA Today, AP, Netflix, Slingbox, NBA, Weather Channel, Weatherbug, IMDB, Flixster, Facebook, Shazam, Amazon, eBay, Groupon, HomeDepot, Walgreens, IGN, KBB, Huffington Post, Geico, Bank of America, USAA, PageOnce,

The games on Windows Phone have been much better than Android thus far. Pac-Man CE DX and Hydro Thunder Go both came out recently and are exclusive to Windows Phone 7. Plants Vs. Zombies isn't even available in official Android market.

"For example, I want portable music software, and there isn't much choice in phone shops for me.)"

What are you talking about? Rhapsody, Rdio, Last.FM, Slacker, iheartRadio, Zune Pass (the best subscription music service) all have had official apps on WP7 for many months. The only major portable music service missing is Pandora.

You're right. I need to try it, its just so hard to find WP7 from where I live.

I was perhaps a bit too harsh towards it in my first comment, but I was merely talking about the software support(and its not WP7's fault), I didn't bash its UI. It can be rather unfamiliar alright, and I, too, was a bit shocked at first, but the more open minded side of me was curious about it. Especially latest demonstrations have started to draw me into it with its pretty smart internet integration.

But the games have been the main thing I was hoping to evolve in MS platform, and so far I am disappointed to its offerings. Actually I was aware of The Harvest, but that alone wasn't nearly enough to turn my head from the support that iPhone is getting from the likes of Square Software and Epic. Everything is smaller and less impressive is every way and less numerous. Some of the things I want doesn't exist at all. But I have a dilemma; My current phone is acting up and I fear its going to explode in one of these days, but I'm not going to buy an iPhone 4 at this point, as the next one is coming in any minute, but no one else seems to be able to offer me the things I want from my mobile computer.

You clearly haven't done much in the way of Research. The Harvest was a launch title and mixes strategy with shooter mechanics. As far as I'm aware it's still a WP7 exclusive, and was the first title with Xbox Live Achievements.

http://www.esphoneblog.com/2010/08/26/wp7-gameplay-video-the-harvest/

It was one of the most talked about titles on the platform before launch. I suggest you actually use a phone before you knock it. Go into a store and try one out. Doing research just isn't enough for it. I wasn't sold on the UI either when I first saw it announced, but since the Pre 3 was taking so long to launch (and still hasn't...) I went looking for alternatives. Didn't want an iPhone, the Android market was too uncontrolled and too many shitty skins were being used. So I looked to WP7.

I honestly couldn't be happier. I get good battery life, the OS is optimized to hell and back again for the relatively olde SoC that it uses. Some Apps will stutter a bit (like The Onion 7 app) but the Core OS itself I've never had slow down. The Zune software is surprisingly nice. I usually like just clicking and dragging for my files, but you can set up a local wi-fi sync so everytime you plug your phone in, it will automatically sync with your computer and download any new music or videos you might have added.

The browser is surprisingly competent, but I honestly can't wait till IE9 is launched with Mango. It is a very much needed update. The browser is passable, but it still shows how old its rendering engine is at times. Third party browsers can be pretty nice. Surf Cube in particular is probably the most innovative browser UI I've ever seen. Honestly, it's that impressive.

And the e-mail integration is just...awesome. There are seriously are no words. Integrated in-boxes are coming with Mango, and on top of that unlike Android which just automatically integrates all non-GMail e-mail accounts whether you want them too or not, you can not only pick in Mango, but you can selectively group your personal e-mails as well while leaving your business or other private e-mails alone. However even in its current incarnation, despite not having an integrated in-box (which I don't mind as I have two e-mail addresses that I want to remain separate anyways) it's easily the slickest e-mail client for a smartphone I have ever seen. Honestly, you owe it to yourself to check it out. I have friends who have literally hundreds of e-mails that are synced and it's still as responsive as with only having a dozen or so e-mails synced.

The Facebook integration is also another great feature. You can choose to pull in your facebook friends and merge them with your contact list so when you go to their person page you can pick to e-mail them, or send them a text, call their mobile phone (or whatever other phone line they have) or pick to write on their wall, all from one pane in their person folder.

It's really a great OS. You can do research on it all you want, but unless you go and actually try one out, you really have no right to talk about it. If you still try out, if you still can't find any good Apps (there are tons of them I might add; the Amazon app is the best on any platform, the EverNote app offers features not found even on the iPhone version, IMDB app is better than their desktop website, Mobile office is great if you need to modify or review office Docs on the go, Super Tube is probably the best Youtube app I've ever seen with the ability to download any video you want in either HD quality or just High Quality settings, the Wooter app despite being third party is so well done you'd swear it was done by Woot themselves). And although it's not something I find very useful at the moment (mainly due to the lack of good gifts) but Parcel Genie is quite possibly one of the more innovative and unique Apps I've ever seen. Go and look and it up and tell me it's not an awesome idea - that just needs to be better implemented by the company. And right now, you can only get it for WP7.

Link please, or never happened.

I have not used WP7, but I haven't seen anything that would make me buy one. I want to see though, as I believe on Windows Phone as a platform!!! At least in the long run. Its multi manufacturer platform like Android, but also consistent like iPhone.

I'm very excited of a possible...or eventual Nokias camera Mango, but I'm only afraid, that there wouldn't be anything else making it worthwhile for me. So please, make me want one. I just haven't seen any games or music software, and in my urgent need of getting a phone, I have searched pretty thoroughly.

I feel, that WP8 is the thing I want, as WP7 specs have already gotten pretty old(and thats another thing I like in Windows Phone actually. I want every round last long. WP7 just didn't succeed as well as they hoped, so the software support wasn't fertile enough for getting all kinds of applications. For example, I want portable music software, and there isn't much choice in phone shops for me.)

Really? Are you shitting me? You think all the games are just ports and that Fruit Ninja is the best.

Once again, it seems that anybody who tries to criticize Windows Phone 7, has just never used one either at all, or more than 30 seconds. Go show me a game as good as The Harvest on any other platform.
