Remember those avatars that Microsoft announced that they would be adding to Xbox Live? Yes, they seem very similar to the Miis on the Nintendo Wii, but I suppose imitation is the highest form of flattery. Well very much like the Wii, you will be able to use your avatars as playable characters in some of your games, but which kind of games will use them?
It seems that Microsoft really doesn’t want you to blow their heads off, or do anything else gruesome to them. Microsoft has decided (at least for now) that they are going to only appear in games rated “E10”.
I can’t really say that this is a surprise, since it would be really strange to see someone’s avatar running around in Halo. Granted, it would be a pretty funny sight.
