Microsoft Announces April 12th Keynote

April is turning out to be a very eventful, and very busy month. First we have the iPad launch, and then we hear about the Apple keynote that will offer up the latest, greatest, and official word on what iPhone OS 4.0 will bring to the table for a great many devices. And now we have Microsoft jumping into the foray. And, as they put it, it's time to share.

There's a bit of speculation around the event, but on the other side of the fence, there's some definite remarks that this keynote is entirely placed on the shoulders of Project Pink. That project is better known for the two devices that have been leaked over the last few months. Sure, amidst all the noise generated by Microsoft's Windows Phone 7, we understand why you might have forgotten about it,

Truth be told, the Turtle and Pure devices are obviously aimed at the social networking crowd, and more importantly, messaging. We can't say for sure whether or not they are aimed at the "tween" generation or not, but we wouldn't be surprised if they are. Next question: is it all worth a specialized keynote? We will be there live blogging the whole thing, so if you are interested in what else Microsoft has up there sleeve, be sure to be here when it all goes down.
