Apparently Medison had a press conference in Sweden and showed off the $150 laptop. They showed off the merchandise to 10 journalists and assured them that the laptop was on its way for the much anticipated August 15th release date.

Medison assured the reporters that their laptop would in fact sell for $150 and that their e-commerce partner, 2Checkout hasn’t actually removed and money from customer’s accounts. They have merely “reserved the funds” and that the money won’t be touched until the laptops ship.

Medison also stated that the way they intend on making money off of the laptop is not the $150 selling price, but the ad supported accessories page. Apparently ad space on that page is going for a monthly fee anywhere from $15k to $3mil.

Still, i would suggest everyone proceed with cautions, i know 2checkout will be able to refund your money and funds wont be release to them until they ship the laptop, but if you cant afford to “loan” out 150 for a couple of months then dont do it.

Everything and then some is what makes this company the worst ever. Check out http://www.medisonscam.info for more details, including what made the press conference one of the worst ever.

Checked the bank Friday, they havent taken out theoney, ordered 4 weeks ago.

Spent time looking at cheep lap tops. 350 with Microsoft, how much does MS take 150-200 bucks.
without the expensive part, it could be done.

I am not sure its a hoax yet. 15th of September, no word of it, then I will worry.
