MD Sound offers affordable color LCD MD-DVD3.5T car stereo

Car radios with color LCDs tend to be quite expensive. The things pack in all sorts of features that allow you to keep passengers entertained on the road with a movie or other content. Movies on a long road trip can be a sanity saver if you have kids. MD Sound has unveiled one of the cheapest color LCD stereos I have seen called the MD-DVD3.5T.

The radio has a 3.5-inch color LCD and is a single DIN design. That means the stereo won't work in newer cars with double DIN radios without an adapter kit of some sort. The device has a flip down panel and it's NTSP/PAL compatible.

The stereo works with DVD/DVD-R/MP3/MP4/VCD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW media and has a built-in AM/FM/MPX stereo with 30 presets. You can also play tracks from SD cards and USB sticks as well. Other features include a CD changer control interface, subwoofer out, and a remote control. The stereo has 200W of power and a pair of 2V preamp outputs. The MD-DVD3.5T is priced at $219.99.
