Max Payne 3 delayed until May, fans abandon sanity once more

If you've been waiting for the third installment of the Max Payne series, you've been tearing your eyeballs out for over eight years – what's a few more months going to do to your precious peepers? That's what Rockstar Games is saying you should do, or if you've not known the game was coming out in the first place – surprise! It's May that you'll be able to play this awesome looking brand new game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC!

This "gritty action experience" will allow you to work with the New York City detective known as Max Payne, he being a drunkard from many years back, addicted to pain pills and in no condition to get up and drink a cup of coffee much less go capture some terrorists – but lo! He must! Thusly there is Max Payne 3, with our hero on the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil, taking an odd job with a real estate mogul by the name of Rodrigo Branco to save his own fortune and family. But all that aside, there's some new effect to be had.

You'll be working with a new version of Bullet Time and Shootdodge features, multiplayer action as well as single player storyline adventures, and a whole variety of different ways to play on both ends. The official site launch is set for "upcoming weeks and months" and their "Design and Technology Series" for the game can be seen in part here:

Enjoy, if you're old enough, and kick it until then with the rest of the Rockstar games suite – GTA:III for Android is sweet!
