Maybe it is just me but I am willing to pay for a top quality KB. As I mentioned Matias Kbs are definitely not for the cost conscious. I have had several of their Kbs over the years and the first one I bought many years ago has a good home with a friend of mine that bought his first Mac about three years ago. These KBs seem to be almost bulletproof and last for many years. Anyway, I agree with you that they are expensive.

I am getting this one to replace a TactilePro 3 because of the BT connectivity. I have few devices that are BT devices so this will be nice.

In that, we both agree. I’m happy to pay $50 – $100 for a well made keyboard. I can even see shelling out $200.00, but for that price I would expect the extras like Macros.

It may be too much KB for most people but then Matias doesn’t build its KBs for most people. They are built for people like me who used mechanical keyboards in the past and can’t stand the feel of what passes for a keyboard these days. I just wished they would put the function keys back on the left end of the keyboard. At least make a KB with dual Fn keys, down the left and across the top. :-) It always amazes me how people have become used to KBs that are so badly constructed..

Sounds like a great keyboard but $199.95 is just too much for a keyboard in my opinion. Especially when there’s no mention of Macro programming or any extra features other than the anti-ghosting software, but how many people type fast enough to have that problem?
