Mass Effect Trilogy comes to EA Origin Access Vault

When EA first launched Origin, there was a lot of backlash from PC gamers. With Steam dominating the PC platform, many people thought it was unnecessary for a publisher to open their own store, which only supported their titles. However, since then, EA has had a fair amount of success with the store. One of the big successes has been Origin Access, which just added a few great titles to its roster.

If you're not familiar with EA's Origin Access, it's essentially a subscription program that gets you unlimited access to a select number of games. The company launched Origin Access on the PC earlier this year. For $4.99 per month, you'll get to play any of the games in the vault. They rotate games out over time, to keep the offering fresh.

This week EA added three of their most popular titles to the vault. The entire Mass Effect Trilogy is playable for all Access subscribers. In addition to the Mass Effect titles, they also added Trine, Trine 2: Complete Story, Dungeons of Dredmor, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and Peggle,

This brings the total number of playable games in the vault up to 27. That's not a bad deal for the price of a single AAA title per year. You can see the full list by heading to the Origin Access page here.
