I really, REALLY hope touchscreen isn't the future of gaming. It forces everything to be so scripted, non-immersive and non-interactive. While Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Bladeslinger, Riptide GP, this (I've played it) etc. are all fun for a short amount of time, it gets boring soon after. I know Xperia Play was a failed attempt at combining phone and gaming, if I could make phone calls from my PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS it would be the perfect device. Both have a library of games that are actually games, physical controls, and many of the functions smart phones today have, minus simply being able to make phone calls. All these other touch devices are NOT gaming devices, "time-wasting-mini-game" devices maybe, but I want a phone/tablet that can make calls, have physical controls and a supported library of games. I would gladly throw my wallet at a device that could do this.
