Marvel's 'Daredevil' teased with new trailer

Marvel's Daredevil series, destined for Netflix, has been in the pipeline for a while now and is finally nearing launch. Ahead of that, however, we've seen the series teased on more than one occasion, including at New York Comic Con last October. The teases keep coming, this time in the form of a relatively long teaser trailer with all the traditional elements: dark scenes, angst, and a voice over betraying the narrator's dark secrets. We've the video after the jump!

Marvel's Daredevil series revolves around Matt Murdock, the blind super hero of Hell's Kitchen in New York. He has been gifted with heightened senses that allow him to run around doing things most sighted people can't, and he uses that ability to target the city's darkest elements. In doing so, he takes on a bit of that darkness himself.

The trailer opens with Murdock in a confessional, the priest listening to his narrative. "I've been preoccupied of late with questions of morality, of right and wrong, good and evil," he says, while viewers are given glimpses of violence and other assorted affairs.

The priest encourages Murdock to tell him what he has done, but that's where Marvel slips in its little hook. "I'm not seeking forgiveness for what I've done, father," says 'Daredevil'. "I'm asking forgiveness for what I'm about to do. I'm just trying to make my city a better place."

The series will be arriving on Netflix on April 10. Check out the timeline below for related news!
