Marantz have unveiled the latest addition to their “Multiroom by Powerline” range, the portable ZC4001.  That harsh name doesn’t do justice to the fashionably-retro and undeniably stylish design, so Marantz have dubbed it the WEAVE (not to be confused with fake hair).

Using your electricity cabling to distribute audio around the house, WEAVE can both receive a music stream as well as control what’s playing in other zones – the system as a whole can support up to six different ones – when combined with the company’s own ZR6001 7-channel amplifier (shown below).

Available now, with system prices starting at $375.
