Make your MacBook gesture sensitive

If I said you should put Lilt on your MacBook, would you shout at me and say there was no way you'd pour a pineapple & grapefruit carbonated beverage on your Cupertino-cutie?  Oh, the misunderstanding-based-fun we could have – I, obviously, was talking about the software Lilt, which taps into those motion and light sensors in your notebook and lets you assign a variety of tasks and functions to them.

The developer lists some of the actions you could use it with:

  • Control iTunes
  • Growl Notifications
  • Screen Lock
  • Say Text
  • Volume Control
  • Switch Applications
  • It's the kind of thing that makes me wish I had a MacBook to try it out with, although spending all that money to play with a $5 shareware programme probably isn't the best way to manage my finances!  There's a free trial of Lilt available to download.
